Aaron's Saving Grace (MM)
Aaron Whitman’s basic ranching life changed two hundred years ago when his father made him and his brothers vampires, and his mother cursed them all for his father's sin. They cannot leave the family ranch and they must drink from the longhorns that are their livelihood.
But a lot has changed since his mother’s original spell was cast. The blood of their cattle is barely sustaining them and the mining companies are closing in on their ranch.
Joshua Miers is a lawyer, hired by Ash Mining to acquire the Whitman’s farm. He soon realizes something is very strange about Aaron and becomes rapt up in a world of paranormal survival and the love of a man who defies all common sense.
Will Josh help to save the Whitman brothers when a fire threatens all of their lives? Or will he choose the life he has always known and the job he has worked his whole life for?
Be Warned: m/m sex, rimming
Josh slipped out from beneath Aaron’s heavy arm, sat up on the mattress and stared down on his now sleeping lover.
“Aaron.” He shook the man beside him, then called his name again. “Aaron?”
He put his fingers to his throat and felt the thumping of his heart beneath his finger tips. His eyebrows rose on his forehead. He had a beating heart?
“Hmmm, so some of the tales about vampires aren’t true.”
Josh glanced around the bedroom, and then down at his watch. It was eleven o’clock and time for him to go to sleep. His clothes were strewn all over the floor, and his limbs were heavy, sated and relaxed.
He was also covered in cum.
“Well, I may as well pass out, too.”
After I wash.
He pulled himself up, out of bed and staggered over to the door that he assumed led into a bathroom. He opened it and found a large en-suite.
There was a pile of white fluffy towels, so he flicked on the shower and jumped in for a minute, washing away the sweat and sperm that was over him and inside him.
Vampires better not carry disease.
He hadn’t even thought about protection, which was unheard of for him. But then again, what had been normal since he’d met Aaron?
Josh turned off the hot water and grabbed a towel, drying himself slowly and enjoying the lethargy that was flowing through his bloodstream. His eyelids drooped, and his shoulders slumped.
He wandered back to the bed, lay down and pulled a coverlet over his cooling body. He let his eyes close, but his mind was still restless, playing the night over in his mind.
Dying cows, food, hot blood, unbelievable vampires, immortality, fangs, and family. All of it combined into a mixture of thoughts in a big bowl of soup, swirling around and making no sense at all.
Finally he shuffled back until his ass was against Aaron’s hip, and amazingly, once he could feel the man beside him better, he fell into a perfect night’s sleep.
