During my childhood/tween/teen years, I was subjected to all kinds of bullying. Some people channel their anger through bullying others, fighting others, self-mutilation and even suicide. I channeled my anger and depression through poetry. These poems are reflecting my depression over the years that I was bullied.

There's a face in the shadows
I know it is there
It's watching me
And waiting for the moment
I look in the shadows
And I see the eyes
Those horrible red gleaming eyes
The eyes that meet with mine
Every day that goes by
I can see the figure more clearly
First, I see the red eyes
Then a skeleton face
My fear is growing
As I look at the face
I try to look away
But it seems the face
Is always in front of me...
