“Ow.” He held up his throbbing hands to find them red and grazed, but thanks to the lush grass there was no blood. His ribs and arse hurt though. What a klutz.

His heart was pounding and he fell onto his back, trying to catch his breath.

“Jay. Jay. Are you okay?” Mitchell’s voice reached him over the clamour of the animals around him at the same time as Mitchell’s hands did. They ran all over him. Jay’s hands, his arms, his ribs, checking for injuries. Jay groaned as his cock stiffened further. He didn’t want his father seeing that, but he couldn’t control it with Mitchell grabbing at him like he was.

He pulled himself up into a seated position and stared into the worried face of the red headed farm boy.

“I’m okay, thanks.”

His father came over from where he’d been with the cows and Mitchell stood up, moving back to stand near his horse using jerky movements for the first time. Weird.

“What happened, Jay?” His father gave him a quick look over with those familiar green eyes and extended his huge hand.

Jay took it gratefully, hauling himself up and clutching his winded belly.

“Just lost control, it’s been a while. Sorry.”

His dad eyed him for another moment before clapping a hand on his shoulder.

“No problem. It’s time for breakfast anyway so how about we go inside?”

For the first time Jay saw the worry in his dad’s eyes and he removed his hand from his tummy, smiling up at him. “Sure. Thanks.”

He moved over to his bike, but Mitchell was there, shoving him out of the way.

“I can get it,” he argued but Mitchell reached down and tugged the dirt bike up.

“No, I’ll walk it back. Donner, can you take Rain?”

Donner nodded and grabbed the black horse’s reins, guiding him in the direction of the house and walking ahead.

Mitchell turned the bike around and began to follow, so Jay used the opportunity to get his hands on the country boy again. He needed to make his intentions known.

He laid his hand on Mitchell’s shoulder, the muscles tightening beneath his fingers as he squeezed.

“Thanks for the help.”

Mitchell shrugged him off and the pain in Jay’s gut surprised him. He’d just been rejected. Well, that was a first.

“Hey, what’s wrong?”

Mitchell slowed a little, obviously not wanting to let Jay’s old man hear what he was about to say. His blue eyes were flashing fire as he turned towards Jay.

“Stop touching me!”

Jay chuckled and reached out to pinch Mitchell’s gorgeous arse, his fingers finding the flesh just as tight and perfect as he remembered.

Mitchell yelped and spun around, pulling the bike with him and making Jay jump back. The country boy was even stronger than he looked.

“What the fuck do you want city boy? Seriously!”

The city boy insult wasn’t lost on Jay but he saw this moment for what it was, the fork in the road where Mitchell was either in his hip pocket or lost forever.

“I want you, Mitchell.”

He gave the country boy a sweet smile and tried not to reach out and kiss him. He could convince Mitchell they’d be good together. He’d been told he had a nice touch and from the sparks that were flying between him and the farm boy, he knew they’d be like fireworks when he finally got his hands on him.

The frown marring Mitchell’s forehead softened a little when he heard the words, but his guard was still in place.

“Why? You’ll only be here for a couple of weeks so what’s the point?”

Ah, so he isn’t that experienced. Careful then.

“That is the point. We can enjoy each other without any strings…”

When he saw Mitchell’s blue eyes darken in anger, he tried a different approach, “and if we like what happens, the city’s only an hour or so away.”

Mitchell’s muscled body relaxed a little and Jay pushed a little harder.

“You’re gorgeous, you know that? I’ve wanted to strip you down and lick every inch of that hot body since the moment I saw you in the bathroom.”

Mitchell’s lovely mouth kicked up at the corner and he shuffled a little. “Every inch, huh?”

Jay took a step closer, not wanting to touch Mitchell when they were out in the open, but his fingers ached for it and he dug his nails into his palms to stop himself.
